01/ Overview
The route
A pushchair-friendly family trail through the Tannwald forest, with smartphone puzzles, an audio story and the Marienhöhe viewpoint. The short circuit starts and ends at the playground in Seelisberg.
The Tannwald playground on Wissigstrasse is just a few steps from the Seelisberg, Tanzplatz bus stop. This is the starting point of the pushchair-friendly Goldi-Gwundernasenweg, a themed family trail featuring smartphone puzzles and an audio story about Goldi and Paulik. The short circuit initially leads through the Tannwald forest without waymarking, the woodland providing a peaceful setting for the playful experience.
The route then joins the marked hiking trail and climbs gently to Marienhöhe. The viewpoint offers views towards Lake Lucerne. Shortly afterwards, the route reaches its highest point at around 860 m. With no significant ascent, the trail continues between woodland and open meadows before reaching the first houses near Tanzplatz. After about an hour, the circuit of just over one and a half kilometres returns to the Tannwald playground.
