01/ Overview
The route
This route from Corsier to Hermance is on the very edge of Switzerland in Canton Genève (Geneva). It reveals a picture-book landscape with vineyards, fields of flowers and glistening Lac Léman (Lake Geneva).
From the Corsier GE, village bus stop, it is only a few steps to the starting point in Corsier. The route begins at its highest point, at around 430 m, and initially leads through the village. At the Café du Soleil, it gradually leaves the houses behind and continues between meadows and fields on an almost imperceptible descent towards Anières.
Beyond Anières, waymarked hiking trails alternate with short sections outside the marked network. The open Geneva countryside defines the route, with houses drawing closer again around Chevrens and La Gravière. There are no major climbs; instead, the route gradually loses elevation over its six kilometres.
Towards the end, the path leads into the village of Hermance. Near the finish stands the tower of the former Château d’Hermance, whose origins probably date back to the 13th century. The Église Saint-Georges is also only a few steps away. The route ends at the Hermance, village bus stop, not far from Lake Geneva.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: SLF only publishes its snow maps from November 1. Until then we roughly estimate the snow depth at the lowest and the highest point of the route every day from the nearest SLF measuring stations. Check the situation on site.
