Chemin Les Mosses–La Lécherette

Nestled between Pays-d’Enhaut, Gruyère and the Riviera, the magical resort of Col des Mosses in the Vaud Alps benefits from an exceptional setting. Developed on an area of marshland, called “la Mosse” by the people of Ormont, this relaxing, magical walk is an invitation to linger.

The winter hike starts at the Les Mosses, Col des Mosses bus stop in the resort of Les Mosses. Near the 1,445 m Col des Mosses, the circular route heads out across open terrain. Wet meadows and broad hollows soon dominate the landscape, while the Galerie de l’Hongrin accompanies the route for several kilometres. With only gentle uphill sections, it continues to La Lécherette.

From there, the winter route turns back towards Les Mosses. The return leg initially remains in open terrain before climbing more noticeably towards the end. After around six kilometres, the route reaches its highest point near the Arête Dorchaux at 1,442 m. From there, it is only a few steps downhill to the first houses of Les Mosses. After just over two hours, the winter hike ends back at the Les Mosses, Col des Mosses bus stop.
