Lehmen–Kronberg Trail

From the bottom to the top, a direct route to Kronberg: Snowshoe enthusiasts with a very good level of fitness will find the challenge they are looking for here. This sunny route promises quietness and solitude. Arrived on Kronberg, a beautiful panorama opens up right into the lowlands and Lake Constance.

The snowshoe tour begins in Weissbad, Lehmen, away from public transport; the nearest stop, Ebenalp, is around 1.7 km away. After a short descent, the long climb begins. Open meadows and woodland accompany the route towards Ahorn.

After just under two kilometres, it passes directly by Berggasthaus Ahorn and the Maria Hilf pilgrimage chapel. From there, the Kronberg remains the clear objective. Across open slopes and through further stretches of woodland, the route continues to climb steadily, gaining around 740 metres in total. Just under four hours should be allowed for the six kilometres.

Shortly before the destination, the highest point is reached at around 1,660 m. From the summit, the views extend across Central Switzerland and as far as the Allgäu, as well as over the mountains of the Alpstein. The tour ends at the Kronberg mountain station, by the stop of the same name.
