01/ Overview
The route
Five tasting stations, Seetal beers and regional farm snacks accompany the gentle route across the Lindenberg – from Gasthaus Hämikerberg through meadows and woodland to Landgasthof Linde in Müswangen.
From the Hämikon, Berg bus stop, it is only a few steps to Gasthaus Hämikerberg, where the Seetal Beer Trail begins. This themed hike of just under eight kilometres links five tasting stations offering Seetal beers from two regions, along with regional food and farm snacks.
The route initially leads across open countryside and through the Stöckwald. As some sections run outside the marked hiking trail network, careful reference to the map is helpful along the way. One beer station is housed in an underground cooler; at Grodhof, a farm snack is available depending on the season. Between meadows and stretches of woodland, the trail climbs only gently, reaching its highest point at around 850 m in the Lindenberg area.
It then descends gradually. With ostriches raised nearby, Sonnerihof adds another regional touch to the Beer Trail. The first houses of Müswangen soon come into view. The route ends at Landgasthof Linde, where a vegetarian set menu is available on request. The Müswangen, Dorf bus stop is immediately adjacent.
