01/ Overview
The route
Snowshoe hike up Bergün’s mountain where keen winter sports fans whizz down into the valley on skis and toboggans. Proceed to the summit of the Piz Darlux as you enjoy the peace and quiet along with the impressive views of the Bergünerstöcke peaks.
The short but steep snowshoe circuit begins at the Alp Darlux stop. The route climbs rapidly across open terrain; higher up, rocks become more prominent. Around 400 metres of elevation are gained over just under one and a half kilometres.
The highest point is reached at Piz Darlux, at 2,641 m. The circuit then descends again, initially through rocky terrain and later across the open slopes above BergĂĽn. After a total of around three kilometres and a little over two and a half hours, the snowshoe tour ends back at the Alp Darlux stop.
