Ibergeregg-Rundweg

A scenic winter walk in the Mythen Region leading through the unspoilt landscape of a protected moorland. This easy to moderate route takes you through snowy pre-alpine surroundings without any major differences in altitude but with spectacular views of the Mythen mountains.

The winter hike starts at the Ibergeregg, Passhöhe bus stop on the Ibergeregg, the pass between Schwyz and Oberiberg. The roughly four-kilometre circuit initially leads downhill. Wet meadows and open terrain characterise this first section. After around one kilometre, the lowest point is reached at approximately 1,280 m, before the route begins to climb again.

The trail now ascends in a wide arc. At Müsliegg, a viewpoint lies directly on the route, with views across the surrounding area from the open terrain. Beyond it, the ascent continues, reaching the highest point at around 1,470 m towards the end of the third kilometre. The circuit then descends back to the pass. After a little over an hour and a half, the winter hike ends back at the Ibergeregg, Passhöhe bus stop.
