01/ Overview
The route
From the village square in Tamins, the path leads along the old country road to the hiking trail that winds its way up to the valley terrace. Impressive views of Bonaduz, Rhäzüns and the canyon of the Rhine Gorge open up here.
From the Tamins, Oberdorf bus stop, the hike initially leads through Tamins. Above the village, the Reformed church stands prominently on its hill and is visible from afar. The houses are soon left behind, and the mountain path continues through open terrain. With gentle ups and downs, the route gradually gains altitude, climbing around 260 metres in total.
Woodland predominates in the middle section. Almost throughout, the route follows a white-red-white waymarked mountain hiking trail through the trees towards Trin. After around four kilometres, houses come into view again. The final section runs through the built-up areas of Trin and Digg.
After five kilometres and just under an hour and a half, the hike ends in Trin Digg. At around 820 metres, this is also the highest point on the route, close to Bot Tschavir. A short, yellow-waymarked hiking trail forms the final stretch. The nearest bus stop, Trin, Porclis, is around 500 metres from the finish.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: SLF only publishes its snow maps from November 1. Until then we roughly estimate the snow depth at the lowest and the highest point of the route every day from the nearest SLF measuring stations. Check the situation on site.
