01/ Overview
The route
Moorland, mountain pines and exposed peat shape this stage over the Bleikechopf. A waterfall and suspension bridge await at the start, while later a soft moorland path leads to the highest point at just under 1'800 m.
The starting point is the Alprestaurant Stäldeli above Flühli. The start is not served by public transport; the nearest stop, Flühli LU, Hüttlenen, is just over 3 km away. The mountain path initially descends through the forest to Chessiloch. There, a waterfall and the longest suspension bridge in the Entlebuch make for a striking opening.
The route then climbs through the Glaubenberg moorland. Raised bogs and fens alternate with mountain pines, alpine pastures and forest; in places, the brown layer of peat lies exposed. A barefoot section is even provided along a soft moorland path. The long ascent leads via Bleikebode and Bleikechopf into the Hagleren nature reserve. A detour to the Haglere cross is possible.
In the final third, the route reaches its highest point at just under 1'800 m. Wild chives grow near Mittlist-Gfäl, after which the mountain path descends via Gitziloch, Dählebode and Alpweid. The path only broadens as it approaches Sörenberg. Passing the Bäckerstube, it continues through the first houses to the Sörenberg, Post PostBus stop.

Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
