Panyer Rundweg

Day-long hike over the alpine pastures of Valpun up to Chrüz. At the idyllic mountain lake you can admire the white water lilies and dragonflies. Another highlight: the 70-metre-long suspension bridge over the Grüsttobel. You hike back to Pany via Tratza.

The approximately 16-kilometre circular hike begins at the Pany, Schwimmbad bus stop. The mountain trail soon climbs steeply, mostly through open terrain. As the route gains height, the alpine pastures broaden; the Chrüz is reached after around two hours. At just under 2'200 m, the summit is also the highest point of the hike. Much of the approximately 1'100 metres of ascent is completed by this point.

From the Chrüz, the route descends in a wide arc. Just beyond the halfway point, the Berghaus zum See stands directly beside the trail. Open pastures and stretches of woodland then alternate as the mountain trail continues to lose elevation. Towards the end, the terrain becomes gentler for a while; at the Tratza-Beizli, the route once again passes directly by a place to stop for refreshments.

The final kilometres lead through woodland and across open ground back to the starting point. After just under six hours, the circuit closes at the Pany, Schwimmbad bus stop.
