Parcours Col du Mollendruz–La Bréguettaz

Starting from the Col du Mollendruz, the link between the Lake Geneva region and the Vallée de Joux, the La Bréguettaz loop is ideal for families. At the halfway point, the chalet-restaurant of the same name is a chance to take a break and refuel in a cosy, authentic setting.

The circular snowshoe route starts at the Mollendruz, col bus stop, on the Col du Mollendruz pass. This pass in the canton of Vaud links l’Isle with Le Pont and lies at around 1,180 m. Right from the start, the route climbs across the open expanses of the Jura. After just over half a kilometre, it reaches its highest point near Haut du Mollendruz at around 1,190 m.

The snowshoe trail then descends in a wide arc. Meadows and pastures dominate the scenery until a few buildings reappear at La Breguettaz. The restaurant of the same name stands directly on the route. From the lowest point of the circuit, the route climbs gently once more and leads back across open terrain to the pass. After around four kilometres and just over an hour and a half, the tour ends back at the Col du Mollendruz, a few steps from the bus stop of the same name.
