Parcours de Pra Cornet

This trail takes you on a journey through an enchanted forest and stunning scenery in the woods of Pra-Cornet. Don’t be surprised if you meet one or two elves or other sculptures along the way. The final highlight is the Pra-Cornet plateau offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

The nine-kilometre snowshoe tour starts at the tourist office in Les Mosses. The Les Mosses, Col des Mosses bus stop is just a few minutes’ walk away. From the resort at Col des Mosses, at an elevation of around 1,450 m, the route first leads out past the houses and climbs through open terrain. After a little over an hour, it passes directly by the Buvette des Charmilles.

The ascent continues to the highest point at around 1,720 m, reached shortly before the halfway point. The Corne des Brenlaires lies off to one side of the route. The trail then descends gradually, initially across open ground and later increasingly through forest. In the final third, the circuit reaches its lowest point; from there, it climbs gently once more to the first houses of Les Mosses. After around four hours and 440 metres of ascent, the snowshoe tour ends back at the tourist office, a few minutes from the bus stop at Col des Mosses.
