01/ Overview
The route
At an altitude of nearly 1,500 metres, the Centro sci nordico di Campra is located in the beautiful Valle Santa Maria at the foot of the Lukmanier Pass. High peaks frame the valley, which is known for its diverse trails and sunny location.
From the Campra, centro nordico bus stop, it is only a few steps to the Centro Sci Nordico, where the 14-kilometre trail begins. It initially crosses open terrain, gently undulating as it reaches the houses of Campra. Clearings then alternate with longer wooded sections, with the circuit climbing a total of around 280 metres.
Towards the end, the trail climbs once more. Its highest point lies at just over 1,450 metres, before the route leads back through woodland and open terrain to the starting point. After just under four hours, the cross-country ski tour ends back at the Centro Sci Nordico.
