01/ Overview
The route
Plenty of close twists and turns, numerous ascents and descents: this varied round trail snakes over snowy, open meadows from the Bedrina Dalpe ski lift towards Boscobello. With you at every turn is a wonderful view of the peaks of the Valle Leventina.
The five-kilometre cross-country circuit starts directly at the Dalpe, Valle bus stop. From the village, the trail climbs gently through open terrain. Within the first kilometre, it reaches its highest point at around 1'250 m near Cima della Costa. The manageable climbs amount to a total elevation gain of around 100 metres.
The circuit then sweeps in a wide arc across the open countryside of Dalpe. Over the second half, it gradually loses elevation, reaching its lowest point at just over 1'220 m after a little more than three and a half kilometres. Rather than striking sights, the trail is characterised by open meadows and a steady succession of short climbs and descents. Towards the end, it climbs gently once more to the edge of the settlement. After just under an hour and a half, the circuit closes back at the Dalpe, Valle bus stop.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
Cross-country skiing is more fun in the snow! Check local conditions before heading out.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
