01/ Overview
The route
From your cross-country skis, discover the same magnificent setting that golfers enjoy in the summer. Practise your favourite sport on the 9-hole Jack Nicklaus course. The route offers a magnificent view: from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc.
The roughly four-kilometre cross-country ski trail starts at La Moubra, just under 200 m from the Crans-Montana, Scandia bus stop. It undulates gently through open terrain. The nearby Etang-Long lies off the circuit; further on, the trail passes La Buvette and reaches Lac Moubra. Covering five hectares, the lake lies at around 1,420 m and marks the lowest part of the circuit.
The trail then turns towards Crans. Between meadows and the first houses, it gradually climbs again. Lac Grenon and the church of Saint-Christophe lie slightly off the route, which does not lead directly to them. Shortly before the end, the trail reaches its highest point at just over 1,450 m. From there, it is only a few minutes back to La Moubra, where the circuit closes at the starting point after just over an hour.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
Cross-country skiing is more fun in the snow! Check local conditions before heading out.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
