01/ Overview
The route
This cozy round trip takes you to the most beautiful corners of Lantsch/Lenz: from the Biathlon Arena to the Lenzer forest and the ski lift. Marvellous views into Oberhalbstein and onto Heinzenberg await you in Rofna.
The approximately five-kilometre winter walk begins at the Lantsch/Lenz, Barbatschauns bus stop. The route initially leads out of the village and past Bualino. Between woodland and open meadows, it climbs steadily; after just over an hour, the highest point is reached at almost 1,460 m. The cluster of houses at St. Cassian, with its chapel, lies slightly off the route.
The trail then descends in a wide arc back towards Lantsch/Lenz. Woodland initially continues to define the landscape before the terrain opens up and the first houses draw closer. Towards the end, the winter walk passes La Tgoma and the Church of St Anthony, which stands on a small plateau in the centre of the village. Shortly afterwards, the circuit ends in Lantsch/Lenz; the Barbatschauns bus stop is only a few steps away.
