01/ Overview

The route

This fast and fun-packed toboggan run covers an altitude of more than 900 metres – including a sweeping view, forest sections, tight bends and a tunnel.

From the Somtgant stop, it is only a few steps to the start at just over 2,100 m. This is where the seven-kilometre toboggan run down to Savognin begins. The route descends across broad, open slopes, losing around 950 metres in elevation overall. Initially, the terrain is characterised by meadows and pastures. After the first third, the run passes directly by Roggi's Baizli tar Flurina.

At Tigignas and Rodas, the first houses draw close to the route. The long descent then continues across the open slopes, gradually entering the built-up area of Savognin. Lai Barnagn lies around 200 metres off the route. Near the end, the Schletg accompanies the toboggan run for a short stretch. By Restaurant Florian's, the village houses are already densely clustered, and shortly afterwards the run ends in Savognin. The Savognin, pendicularas/Bahnen stop is right by the finish.

03/ Conditions

Current conditions

What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.

  • How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.

  • How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.

  • Sledding is more fun in the snow! Check local conditions before heading out.

How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
