01/ Overview

The route

This «Lauberhorn» of toboggan runs provides a rapid and winding descent from Bergün’s local mountain, the Darlux, to the entrance of the village of Bergün.

The descent begins at the Pros da Darlux stop, just a few steps from the Bergün, Darlux starting point. At around 1,980 m, close to Piz Darlux, this is also the highest point of the route. From here, the toboggan run drops around 600 metres over four kilometres.

Initially, the route crosses open terrain. The forest soon closes in and characterises most of the descent. The toboggan run continues steadily downhill before emerging from the forest on the final section and heading towards the first houses of Bergün. A short distance from the route, at the south-eastern edge of the village, stands the cantonally protected Reformed church. The finish lies at around 1,380 m on the edge of Bergün; the Bergün/Bravuogn Sagliaz stop is just under 300 metres away.

03/ Conditions

Current conditions

What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.

  • How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.

  • How we check: SLF only publishes its snow maps from November 1. Until then we roughly estimate the snow depth at the lowest and the highest point of the route every day from the nearest SLF measuring stations. Check the situation on site.
