01/ Overview
The route
Sledging on the sunny side of Engelberg – the Brunni slopes with gorgeous views of the Titlis are the perfect place to sledge under the sun.
From the Brunni (Engelberg) stop, it is only a few steps to the start at the Brunnihütte SAC. The mountain hut stands at 1'860 m beside the Härzlisee, which is also the highest point of the toboggan run. Immediately after the start, the descent begins across open terrain.
Over two kilometres, the route descends around 260 metres. It remains outside the forest and leads steadily downhill across the open slopes of Brunni. With no uphill sections, the direction of travel remains clear all the way to Ristis; just under 30 minutes should be allowed for the entire descent. Towards the end, Ristis comes into view ahead. The toboggan run ends at Engelberg, Ristis; the Ristis (Brunni-Bahnen) stop is just under 200 metres from the finishing point.
