01/ Overview
The route
With a view over the mountainous landscape of Haslital, this sledge run offers an experience for the whole family. Passing forests of spruce trees, the track runs from Mägisalp to Bidmi.
From Mägisalp, the toboggan run descends for over four kilometres to Bidmi. Open slopes characterise the beginning, while farther down, sections of forest alternate with open areas.
The route starts at the Mägisalp stop, almost at its highest point at around 1,700 m. The descent begins immediately after setting off. At first, the route crosses open terrain, steadily losing altitude. In the middle section, the forest draws closer, with clearings repeatedly opening up between the trees. By Bidmi, the total elevation difference amounts to around 280 metres.
Towards the end, the toboggan run reaches the Bidmi family restaurant, just a few metres from the route. From there, it is not far to Hasliberg, Bidmi. The Hasliberg Wasserwendi, Bidmi stop is located directly at the finish.
