01/ Overview
The route
The animArocourt educational trail leads through meadows and woodland around the Jura village of Rocourt. Quiet paths and gentle changes in elevation characterise this short circular route.
The starting point lies above Rocourt, away from public transport. The nearest stop, Grandfontaine, bif. Roche d’Or, is around 700 m away. The educational trail initially descends into the village and passes the Église Saint François-Xavier. Much of the route runs outside the marked hiking trail network.
Beyond the houses, the landscape opens up. The path crosses meadows and pastures, later enters the forest and gradually climbs again. After just over four kilometres, the route reaches its highest point at around 580 m. It then returns across open countryside to Rocourt. The stop of the same name is also around 700 m from the finish.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
