01/ Overview
The route
The cross-country trail between Fuldera and Tschierv winds its way pleasantly uphill through alternating woodlands of pine and larch and alongside the picturesque river Rombach.
The six-kilometre trail begins near the Fuldera, Furom bus stop. It leaves the village and initially climbs gently through open terrain. Meadows and wooded sections soon begin to alternate; near Mot da la Charpella, the trail leads through the forest. Around 180 metres of ascent must be tackled overall, with short descents interrupting the climb.
The trail then continues up the valley and, after about four kilometres, reaches the first houses of Orasom Tschierv. Open terrain once again becomes more prominent, with views across the slopes of Val Müstair. In Tschierv, the Baselgia Reformed Church stands not far from the trail. Over the final few metres, the trail climbs once more and ends after just under two hours in Tschierv at around 1,760 m, near the Süsom Tschierv bus stop.

Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
Cross-country skiing is more fun in the snow! Check local conditions before heading out.
How we check: SLF only publishes its snow maps from November 1. Until then we roughly estimate the snow depth at the lowest and the highest point of the route every day from the nearest SLF measuring stations. Check the situation on site.
