From the Jura heights with its many views between Magglingen and Evilard, the path descends into the wild Taubenloch Gorge. Bridges and tunnels enable you to go right into the residential area of Bözingen. Along the Suze and through Biel, this stage ends at the train station via the shore of the lake.

The hike begins directly at the Magglingen, Seilbahn stop. Shortly after the start, the trail reaches its highest point at around 900 metres. Beyond the houses of Magglingen, the yellow-marked hiking trail passes the chapel and soon enters the forest. The Steibruch Beizli is also close to the trail. The route then descends steadily, with only a few short uphill sections. It remains in the shade of the trees for a long stretch before meadows and the first settlements appear between the edges of the forest.

After around ten kilometres, the trail reaches Biel/Bienne and follows the Schüss through the city. Towards the end, the route runs directly beside Lake Biel, one of the three large lakes at the foot of the Jura in the Three-Lakes Region. A short section also follows the Zihl close to the riverbank. After a total of 13 kilometres and just over three hours, the hike ends in Biel/Bienne; the coach terminal is only a few steps from the finish.
