01/ Overview
The route
A short winter circuit across Flühli’s snow-covered golf course, with pink signposts, open meadows and perhaps even a chance to spot wildlife if all is quiet.
The roughly 45-minute circuit begins at the Flühli LU, Golfplatz bus stop. Pink signposts lead across the snow-covered golf course and through open meadows. After just over half a kilometre, the short ascent reaches the highest point at around 970 m. The total ascent is only about 60 metres.
The winter hike then continues via Kurzenhütten towards Bunihus. With a little luck, wildlife may be spotted along the way if all is quiet; dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the route. A self-service refrigerator is available at Gast Hoof 18, offering an easy opportunity for a short break.
From the edge of the settlement, the marked circuit leads back across the golf course’s open terrain. After just over two kilometres and around three-quarters of an hour, the route returns to the Flühli LU, Golfplatz bus stop. PostBus services run there from Schüpfheim, which has rail connections towards Bern and Luzern.

Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
