01/ Overview
The route
Hiking through snow-covered fields up to the Alpenrösli mountain restaurant and back to Klosters Platz. This beautiful snowshoe hike with gorgeous views is a treat both for the eyes and for the palate.
The snowshoe hike starts at the «Klosters, Kath. Kirche» bus stop, close to the lowest point of the circuit. The ascent begins among the houses of Klosters, before the built-up area gives way to open meadows and pastures. The route gains most of its approximately 300 metres of elevation in the first half. After just under two kilometres, the highest point is reached at around 1,450 m; the Versitspitz is the nearest summit.
The circuit now heads back down into the valley. It crosses open slopes before returning to the first houses of Klosters. Like the ascent, the descent accounts for about half of the four-kilometre route and leads back down to around 1,200 m. After a little over two hours, the circuit ends where it began in Klosters. The bus stop by the Catholic church is just a few steps away.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
Snowshoeing is more fun in the snow! Check local conditions before heading out.
How we check: SLF only publishes its snow maps from November 1. Until then we roughly estimate the snow depth at the lowest and the highest point of the route every day from the nearest SLF measuring stations. Check the situation on site.
