Alpine Panorama Trail, Stage 14/29

A perfect panoramic route through the typical rolling landscape of old-world Emmental! Continually up and down along a mostly wide range of hills from the Napf, past small farmsteads, alps and woodlands to Lüderenalp,

The hike begins on the Napf, which, at around 1'400 m, is both the highest point on the route and the highest point in the Napf region. The starting point is not served by public transport; the nearest stop, Mettlenalp (Napf), is just over a kilometre away. From the summit, the yellow-waymarked hiking trail initially descends, alternating between open pastures and shady stretches of forest.

Passing the Niederenzi inn, the route continues to Änzisattel. From there, the trail is characterised by constant ups and downs over wooded ridges and through small clearings. Near Obere Lushütte, roughly half the distance has been covered. The route remains varied without becoming technically difficult, continuing via Hohmattgätterli through the typical rolling countryside of the Napf region.

The final section is predominantly downhill. After a total of around twelve kilometres and just over four hours, the trail reaches Lüderenalp. The bus stop of the same name is located directly at the destination.
