Blauburgunderland Panoramaweg

The hiking trail up in the heights that leads through the heart of Schaffhausen's Blauburgunderland. The route goes along a mountain ridge that extends to the southeast. The focus of this route is the Mediterranean-like views of the vineyards of Blauburgunderland.

The hike begins at the Siblingen, Siblingerhöhe bus stop, on the pass of the same name. The marked hiking trail initially climbs through meadows and open countryside. After just over two kilometres, the route reaches its highest point near Staufenberg at around 620 m. The trail then descends gradually, passing directly by the Chlooster reservoir.

Near Hallau stands the Bergkirche St. Moritz, the landmark of this wine-growing village. Built in 1491, the Late Gothic church lies slightly off the route; the trail remains in open countryside and reaches a barbecue site at Oberi Egg. Shortly afterwards, the uf Rummelen reservoir lies directly beside the trail. The hike continues via Mörderain with gentle ups and downs, though descending overall.

Towards the end, the first houses of Trasadingen come into view. In the village, the trail passes the Reformed church and ends after around 14 kilometres near the Trasadingen, Abzw. Bahnhof bus stop.
