01/ Overview
The route
A short, almost level woodland circuit through the Bremgartenwald: the blue-signposted Bremer Loop leads from Riedern between the trees and returns to the starting point after half an hour.
The Bremer Loop begins at Riedern and immediately enters the Bremgartenwald. The actual starting point is not directly accessible by public transport; it is around 400 m from the Bern, Holenacker stop. Blue signs mark the direction around the running route, which is just under two kilometres long.
With barely any noticeable ascent, the route winds through the forest. Near Könizberg, it reaches its highest point at around 560 m soon after the start. The trail then continues between the trees, descending by only a few metres. After about half an hour, the circuit closes back at Riedern.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
