01/ Overview
The route
A short family adventure trail beside the Enziwigger: a barefoot trail, witch’s house, herb garden and play stations turn around 500 metres into a two-hour voyage of discovery.
The Chrüterhäxli Lilli Gwonderwäg begins in the centre of Hergiswil bei Willisau at around 635 m. From here, the broad hiking trail descends gently and follows the Enziwigger. The short route is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, although it is also used by bicycles and mountain bikes.
Along the way, everything revolves around trees, shrubs and animals. Natural materials can be explored by touch on the barefoot trail, while stories await in book boxes. There is also the Chogalibahn, a rope climb with a slide, and Chrüterhäxli Lilli’s witch’s house. More plants can be discovered in the herb garden.
There is time to play and splash about in the streambed. Two barbecue sites provide opportunities for a longer break, and an accessible toilet is located close by. Around two hours should be allowed for the roughly 500 metres, including the play stations. After a final short section, the route ends back in the centre of Hergiswil bei Willisau.

How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
