Descente en luge des Diablerets

This toboggan run on the slopes of the Col de la Croix zigzags down through fields and forests to Les Diablerets, with stunning views of the mountains of the same name. One of the longest toboggan runs in Switzerland.

The sledging descent begins at the high-altitude starting point of the Diablerets Express, almost at the highest point of the route at around 1,720 m. Initially, it crosses open terrain. The Col de la Croix lies just over half a kilometre away; the route itself heads towards Les Diablerets, losing altitude steadily over the first few kilometres.

Farther down, open slopes alternate with sections of forest. The descent passes near Buvette La Jorasse without leading directly to the mountain restaurant. The forest then accompanies the longer part of the run, extending almost to the valley floor.

In total, the route descends around seven kilometres and 560 metres in altitude. After just over an hour and a half, the houses of Les Diablerets are reached. The finish is at the Diablerets Express at around 1,170 m; the Télécabine des Diablerets stop is only a few steps away.
