01/ Overview
The route
Take a comfortable chairlift ride from Flims up to Foppa, then whizz back downhill: this fast and twisting descent passes through the forest and follows a specially designed piste back to the valley station in Flims.
The roughly three-kilometre descent begins at the Foppa stop at around 1'420 m, close to Restaurant Foppa. The sledging run loses around 340 metres in elevation on the way to Flims. Immediately after the start, the route enters the forest. It continues steadily downhill between the trees before the terrain gradually opens out into meadows and pastures.
After the wooded middle section, open areas and forest alternate once more. Around 40 minutes should be allowed for the entire run, plus time for stops. Towards the end, the sledging run approaches the first houses of Flims. The open countryside now gives way to the village as the final metres of descent lead downhill. After around three kilometres, the run ends directly at the Flims Dorf stop (Plaun valley station).

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
Sledding is more fun in the snow! Check local conditions before heading out.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
