01/ Overview
The route
This short themed circuit follows the Krummenbach, passes close to the Lenkerseeli and climbs through woodland and meadows to the highest point above Lenk. Information panels explain the geology and natural events of the area.
From the Lenk, Krummenbach bus stop, the Geo Trail initially descends between the houses. Along the way, large information panels explore the geology, geotechnics and natural events of the surrounding area. The route soon follows the Krummenbach for a short stretch before reaching the lowest point of the circuit.
The landscape opens out near the Lenkerseeli. The Alpkultur playground lies close to the route, while the lakeside is also home to a large public playground and a campsite. The hiking trail then begins to climb again. Meadows and pastures alternate with woodland as Lenk gradually recedes into the distance.
In the final third, the trail climbs to its highest point at around 1,220 m. From there, it descends gently and crosses open terrain back to Lenk. The circuit ends just over an hour after the start; the Lenk, Krummenbach bus stop is around 250 m from the finish.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
