La-Pala-Rennloipe

The racing slope La Pala is a true touchstone for skiers who are both physically and technically experienced. In addition to a sport challenge, skiers will also experience a dreamlike landscape on the four kilometers. Especially beautiful: the cross-country track along or on the lake Heidsee.

The four-kilometre trail starts on the Luziuswiese in Lenzerheide. The nearest bus stop, Lenzerheide/Lai, Fadail/Lido, is just over 500 metres away. The route begins by climbing across open terrain. After almost one kilometre, it reaches its highest point near Cresta Sartons at around 1'530 m.

The trail then descends across meadows towards La Riva. Between the houses, views open up towards the Heidsee, whose shore is reached just over halfway around the circuit. Situated at 1'484 m, the lake consists of a larger northern section and a smaller southern section, with a dam separating the two basins.

Beyond the lake, the trail crosses flat terrain, characterised in places by wet meadows, to the lowest point of the circuit. It then climbs gently again, passes close to the Kiosk Lido and once more crosses the open expanses. After just over an hour, the circuit ends where it began on the Luziuswiese.
