01/ Overview
The route
Over eight kilometres of fun for the whole family: this long toboggan run starts on the Saaseralp and winds its way through the forest with a view over the Prättigau.
The sledging trail begins right by the Madrisa stop above Klosters, which is also the highest point of the route at around 1'880 m. Near Chleiriedbüel, the long descent begins. It initially crosses open slopes and descends steadily towards the Prättigau from the outset.
Beyond the open terrain, the sledging trail increasingly enters the forest and continues downhill along the slope. Over a distance of around eight kilometres, it descends approximately 860 vertical metres; just under two hours should be allowed for the entire route. In the lower section, the descent continues between wooded slopes until the first houses gradually come into view.
The Saas i.P., Old-Inn stop is just under 200 m from the end of the route. The sledging trail itself ends by the houses of Saas im Prättigau at just over 1'000 m.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
Sledding is more fun in the snow! Check local conditions before heading out.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
