01/ Overview
The route
Panels created by young people, life stories and quiet questions accompany the level path from Nebikon to Schötz, mostly through open farmland and along the Wigger and Ron.
The Motivational Trail begins in Nebikon, around 200 metres from the Käserei bus stop. The route initially follows the Wigger and later the Ron as well. Along the way are panels designed by secondary school pupils. The life stories of well-known personalities provide an opportunity to reflect on self-image and questions about the meaning of life.
The hiking trail leads out of the built-up area without any significant climbs. Meadows and open fields characterise most of the almost 45-minute route, interspersed with short stretches of woodland. The Museum Ronmühle lies along the way. The Motivational Trail remains close to the Wigger and Ron, allowing thoughts to wander between the individual panels.
Towards Schötz, the path climbs only gently, reaching its highest point at around 505 metres. After just over three kilometres, the trail ends in Schötz.

03/ Conditions
Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
