Experience 7 days of the pristine environment in the rugged canyons and on the steep mountain slopes in and around the Swiss National Park. At an altitude of 2,945 m, the trail leads along smugglers’ paths through tunnels in the rocks. Dense mountain forests, expansive Alpine pastures and the vibrant colours of mountain lakes and Alpine flowers are a delight to see.

From the Sent, Sur En stop, the long route climbs out of the valley to Schlinigpass. Crossing open pastures and rocky slopes, the mountain trail reaches S-charl. It then enters God Tamangur and ascends to Pass da Costainas. The interplay of forest, pastureland and barren high mountains characterises this multi-day hike.

The route continues towards Il Fuorn via Pass dal Fuorn, at an elevation of around 2,150 m. Later, the Lai dad Ova Spin reservoir lies directly beside the route. Marked almost throughout with white-red-white waymarks, the trail requires stamina, covering a total of around 105 kilometres and 7,300 metres of ascent; the actual walking time is just under 42 hours.

After Zernez, the final major ascent begins. The route climbs across meadows and increasingly rocky terrain to its highest point near Spi da Baselgia at around 2,940 m. This is followed by the long descent to Lavin, where the hike ends at the transport stop.
