01/ Overview
The route
This magnificent route between the Cantons of Berne and Neuchâtel boasts a unique panorama over the plateau and the Alps. On a clear day you can even see the peak of Mont Blanc in the far distance.
The cross-country ski trail in Les Savagnières begins directly by the Le Plan-Marmet stop. It initially descends gently through open terrain before the longer climb begins. The broad expanses open up views across the Jura heights.
Around halfway, the circuit reaches its highest point near Mont d’Amin at approximately 1'250 m. The trail then descends again and loops back in a wide arc. After nine kilometres and just over two and a half hours, it ends at the starting point in Les Savagnières.
