Senda d'unviern Triel

Wander through the snowy landscape of the Val Lumnezia on well-groomed winter hiking trails: with the Piz Terri always in view, the route runs past the Davos Munts bathing lake and up to the Triel lookout point. On the way back, hikers pass over pretty, snow-covered mountain pastures.

The winter hike begins on the edge of the village at the Vella, Sumsiaras bus stop. Initially, the route leaves the houses behind and climbs steadily across open terrain. After just under two kilometres, the Davos Munts Seecafé lies directly on the route; from there, the circuit continues across meadows and pastures.

Around the halfway point, it reaches its highest point at approximately 1'600 m, near Piz Plauncas. By this stage, most of the just over 400 metres of ascent has been completed. The route then descends again and remains in the open landscape for a long stretch before the first houses herald the return to the valley.

In the final third, the winter hike leads to Morissen and past the Beiz Mulin inn. It then returns to Vella, where the open landscape gives way to the village. After a total of ten kilometres and just over three and a half hours, the circuit ends at the Vella, Posta bus stop.
