The roughly 16-kilometre hike begins at the Sertig, Dörfli bus stop. Near the Reformed church, the trail leaves the small settlement and climbs across open meadows. It soon joins a mountain trail marked in white-red-white. The ascent becomes steeper and leads into increasingly barren, rocky terrain.

After just over four kilometres, the route reaches its highest point on the Tällifurgga, at around 2,570 m. Here the long ascent comes to an early end, but there is still a considerable distance to Davos: the route descends across open slopes, passes Teufi and Hof, and later enters wooded sections. The descent totals around 1,150 metres of elevation.

Towards the end, the trail becomes wider and approaches Davos through built-up areas. The distinctive tower of St. Johann Church signals the destination. After around five and a half hours, the hike ends in Davos; Davos Platz railway station is only a few steps away.
