01/ Overview
The route
Cross-country skiing on the FIS racing trails in the Flüela Valley, where Dario Cologna and his fellow skiers have already competed for World Cup points. The highlight of the racing trail is the famous «Cologna-Stutz», named after Switzerland’s most successful cross-country skier.
From the Davos Dorf stop, it is just under 300 m to the start in Bünda. The six-kilometre course quickly leaves the houses behind and continues across open terrain. After the first kilometre, Chalet Velo lies directly on the circuit.
The course then climbs in long stretches towards Büelenberg. Meadows and pastures dominate the scenery before sections of woodland begin to break them up higher up. After around three kilometres, the highest point is reached at just under 1,700 m. From here, the circuit turns back, gradually losing the 180 metres of elevation gained.
In the final third, open areas alternate with woodland as the track leads back towards Davos. After just under two hours, the circuit closes again in Bünda; the Davos Dorf stop is just under 300 m away.

Current conditions
What to know before you set off. Closures and snow are re-checked every day.
How we check: Every night we match the route against the official closures and detours from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO). Any reported closure that touches the route shows up here.
How we check: We look up a live public transport connection from your starting point to the stop closest to the trailhead. If it ends further away, the nearest stop may be a cable car or bus that isn't running right now.
Cross-country skiing is more fun in the snow! Check local conditions before heading out.
How we check: Snow depth estimated daily at the lowest and the highest point of the route. Estimates: check the situation on site.
